Body side moulding

Anyone know a source for the rubber side moulding? I have a two-tone LE model. I need the little piece on the passenger's side that goes from the front edge of the fenderwell to the front of the truck. I have looked EVERYWHERE! Thanks.

I am pretty sure you will not be able to get the factory trim parts anymore, when I had my truck repainted we were unable to get them from the dealer so my body shop called in his trim guy and he brought me his catalogs where we found the trim I wanted, the ones I have on my D-350 LE are actually in the GM section.

Go to your local body shop and ask the guy who installs the trim if he has something to match it, it comes in a big roll and he cuts it to fit.

Thanks Jim. I hadn't thought of that. I'll make some phone calls Monday. How did you attach it? 3M double-sided tape?

I am getting my truck repainted now and when they removed the side moulding on the passenger door, rust was forming underneath. Only place aside from the roof (repaired previously) where there is/was any rust. I'm keeping the molding off.

What are you doing about the holes? Bondo? I don't really like the moulding along the body and on the fenderwells for that reason alone. The only rust spot I have on my truck is forming underneath the fenderwell moulding.

My Cummins is missing most of it, the rest will come off when I get to painting it. I'm just going to leave the holes alone, probably.

One of the problems of being here in sunny Southern California is nothing rusts, unless you made the bad choice of living by the beach.
