Bfg a/t 285/70/17 e
I just picked up a set of BFG A/T 285/70/17 E tires today. I had the same thing in a D rated tire and they lasted 60,000 miles. I could have got another 10 thousand miles out of them but winters around the corner. I am doing a trip into snow country in two weeks so new ones were the smart move.
I really liked the D rated BFG tires and they performed great and were worth every penny. The new E rated tires feel even more solid but you can feel the bumps and stones on the road a bit more.
If they last as long as the last set I'll be a happy guy.

I am about to have to buy some more tires myself. I loved my Nitto 285/75/17 tires....but I only have 25K on them and one is almost completely wore out. Im debating about what to do. I love BFG ATs but they don't offer them in the size I want.

I have been very happy with my 305/65/17E BFG AT KOs. Awesome aired-down on the beach and very solid towing our 28' camper. They were great in the snow last winter too:

I am only going to get 25K out of my KM2's but I think it's due to how I drive. I just started commuting to school now and my driving is 90% highway but there is the occasional dirt road that I need to go on. Right now I'm leaning more to the dura grapplers.
