BF Goodrich tires

The rubber on the tire sidewalls is flaking off showing a white material underneath. Truck is a 2003 with 23000 miles. This happen to anyone else?

Yeah at about 10k mine are, but they want to charge me all labor and such and of course the prorated amount left of the tire to warranty these things.

It's only where the white letters are, non structural they say. Pisses me off a 45k$ truck and the tires are falling apart. Should be a full replacement IMHO, BFG should eat it....

My Rugged Trails did the exact same thing. I never worried about it. I ran them to 40k miles, towing and all, then swapped them for 285's.

Just took mine off at 80,000 miles. Probly could go other 10,000. Yes if you curb them the white does show through.

This isn't a curbing issue. This is the rubber separating from the tire around the letter area. Looks pretty gnarly.

there is a manufacture date on the sidewall, you may be surprised how old your tires really are.

I have 44k on mine and would be willing to bet they will go to 70k before replacement.
