Bed Cap; Interior Lighting

I am going to be re-installing my truck cap soon.

I want to wire in a larger/more powerful interior light.

Any ideas on what kind of light to look for?

I was thinking about a clear LED light bar......but I am not sure.

Can I just tap into the factory light that came with the cap?

LED lights are very low power, so would work well off the cap's existing interior light.

Here is a note from the Dodge wiring diagrams about LEDs that maybe helpful.

Do these strips produce enough light though?

My main concern and need for the additionally brighter light is so I can see what I am doing, like when I am changing clothes and getting dressed in the field during hunting season, loading, etc.

I use one of these, (60 LEDs) the rechargable batts go a full 8 hrs on a charge and I can re-charge it with the trucks power outputs. I hang it on my folding chair as I sit around the fire. Basically it has replaced the flash light and lantern.
