Interior Lighting

Anyone have probelms with interior lights not staying on as long as the should. No matter what setting i use on the dimmer switch dimmest to fully up, the lights stay on for no longer than 15 seconds. Same for courtousey lights. I checked both batteries and they are both over 12v. Checked manual for ability to set.

Any thoughts?

Do you mean like when the truck is shut off or when you open the doors? Or just the lights are all shutting off when your driving it? My downloader can adjust all the settings for how long the accessory delay and stuff is so your dealer should be able to lengthen all the timers for you.

Sorry about that. When truck is shut off and doors are open. It seems like the lights used to stay on longer. Could the setting in the computer have been corrupt. Truck is stock. I need to take it in before warranty runs out so i will add it to the list.

Yes, you need to take it to the dealer to get the computer updated. There seems to be a problem with the interior lights and there is a reflash out for this. Mine started and it would drive me crazy. The dealer updated the computer that operates the interior lights and all is good now. It's nothing serious, it just needs the new update.
