Has anyone with the 4 speak stearo pulled the upper dash pad to see if there was wiring back there for the 3 dash speakers?

 

I've looked back there when hooking up trailer brakes and on mine there where none in plain site.

 

Take it for what it's worth but the dealer told me that the wires are not there. I upgraded to the 6cd stereo when I bought my 06 Megacab. They told me that along with the three extra speakers comes an amp. when installed at the factory.

 

That's what I was told by the dealer,no wires. I checked at at radio shop & they're going to put some in for about $75. They said it really makes a big difference.

 

There aren't any wires there, the 7 speaker system has a factory amp. You could install speakers and run wires but if your using a radio to run them all the impedence will be off and you could damage your radio so be carefull.

 

Bummer, I guess I will just buy better door speakers and see if that helps.

 

Just wonderin, how is it there's 3 speakers in the dash?
I get the right, left, but where's the 3rd come in?


I only have the 4 speaker set up, it's not bad for factory but a pair in the dash would be good, and a sub...

Yes, I know center, are you saying the Infinity sound is 7.1 surround? I don't think so


So what is the center speaker wired to, left, right or??
If it's a dual cone thing, with right and left being ½" apart it would mean pretty sh!tty seperation...
