Anybody here speak German?

I need to know the correct spelling/conjugation of "I Alone" in German... looking online and using an English-German dictionary, I've found two different answers:

1. Ich Alleine

2. Ich Allein

I'm not sure if I need that second 'e' in 'Alleine'.

Thanks.

Thanks Shovelhead... I get both versions depending on which translator I use. But, both of them come back as "I alone" if you do German to English so maybe it doesn't really matter. Then again, this is going to be a tattoo on my body so it does matter.

Alpineram will be on shortly (I hope for your sake)

You don't want to misspell a tattoo, especially when translation depends on it.

Isn't German a romance language? if it is, the difference is probably a masculine/feminine variation.

I thought that was French? Oh dang... that will probably start a debate. Sorry....

Reminds me of the song from Live....

I alone love you
I alone tempt you
I alone love you
Fear is not the end of this!

That's what I was thinking when I looked at it.

4 years of German in High School, and can't speak a word of it.

Ich Allien = I alone - and that's just fine, Hoowaa!

Ich Alleine = I alone - and feeling vulnerable, sob.

Romance languages aren't about love... spent two years in high school learning french and it never helped me get laid...

Romance languages have a masculine and feminine version of of words. each mean something different. or atleast can...
