found some buttons

This is kind if embarrassing but today well driving my truck I am holding the wheel and I feel these buttons on the back side of the steering wheel . 40,000 miles and never felt them before and had know idea what they did . I pride myself in when I get a new vehicle to always read the owners manual cover to cover but must have missed that part . Anyhow I figured out they run the radio , which is kind of cool I guess but for the life of me I can't figure out why I never seen them before . I can't be the only one who has not seen these yet but it did remind me that I had the truck over a year before I found the storage under the rear fold out floor . Tomorrow I think I will spend some time looking around in the cab instead of under the hood , who knows what I may find

Are the radio buttons a Laramie only feature?

John, you need to go look through your closet.....There is NO TELLING what kind of cool stuff you might find in there

I found 7 $100.00 bills stuck in an old Class A Uniform a few years ago, I don't have a clue when I put them there....I am thinking it might be time to go looking again

My work truck has them and its an SLT but not the Laramie so I think they are optional on any model. I suppose they might be standard with the Laramie. They are very handy and I like them a lot. I am spoiled and get used to having them at work and then get in my truck and feel around for them and they're not there. Thats one thing I kinda wish I had. Don't worry - It took me a couple months to find the storage under the front center console. Bad part is the work truck has it too and I frequently use it, just never crossed my mind while in my truck.

I have a friend who bought a '79 2 door Malibu to build a drag car out of. When he disassembled the car he found $900 in the rear side panel by the backseat.

Best part: He only paid $500 for the car!!

Hey Larry those 7 $100 bills are mine, I'll split it with ya, I take checks you got my address, thanks .

when i had my 01 i had bought a dash mat for it but never put it on, once the dash cracked i bought another one, and the day I recieved it I found the one I had bought 3 years before, needless to say I lost the reciept and had 2 dash mats and a cracked dashboard. worst part about it is I could have prevented the cracks.

I had my truck 2 years before I accidently figured out that the dome light can be turned on by pushing in the clear plastic lens.

Anyone know what these buttons on the side of the drivers seat are for?

You get the buttons on the wheel depending on what option radio you selected. The Infinity radio systems come with buttons on the back of the wheel.
