35/12.50/17-----tires

Is anyone running this size tire on a stock (no leveling/lift) 2500 4X4 on H2 wheels? I found a pretty good deal on a set of Procomp All-Terrain tires. I am currently running 315/70/17's with no rub. It looks like these tires are about 3/4" wider and about 1/2" taller than the 315's.

Lots of people are running this combo. I have stock rims and get a small amount of rubbing on control arms, pics in gallery. I would like to know how the pro comps last. Just took off the m/t with 42k on them and had a probly 4-6k left, but they wore uneven towards the end and were out of balance. I couldn't wait for the buy 3 get 1 free or I would of got pro comps again. Picked up coopers s/t for 200 a tire, like them so far.

Thanks for the quick responses. I expected a little rub on the control arms, but wanted to make sure there were no other issues. The H2 wheels have a bit more offset than stock. New "Blem" versions of this tire are about $138. Seems like a good deal. Mike

Mike, If you are looking at buying the blem tires from 4 wheel parts like I tried, PLEASE do me a favor, and don't do it. Those guys are a bunch of morons. I ordered a set of blem 35x12.50x17 Pro Comp Extreme All Terrains, which showed to be in stock. They charged my credit card for the full amount, and I never heard anything from the manager of the store, like I was supposed to. After 2 freakin weeks, I called them and asked what was up. Their excuse was "we thought we had 8 of the blem tires in stock, but we don't have any" So I then asked them what they are going to do about it, since they already had charged my credit card for the tires they did not have. Their only "option" for me was to charge me MORE and give me the non blem tires. At that point, I told them to shove the tires where the sun don't shine, and credit my card back. Thats about the only thing they did right. Took them 3 days to credit the card back though. I will NEVER deal with 4 wheel parts again.

Thanks for the tip as that was my plan. They told me they don't have the tires in stock anyways. Pro Comps are going on-sale again in October...buy 3 get 1 free. I may go with that deal. Mike

Thats what I am going to do. If you want some now, go here: Free shipping, no tax, unless you are in his state, and his price is the same as what 4wp will be charging.
www.4wheelcustoms.com

He is running the sale right now.

I'm assuming all of you guys that are going with these ProComp tires are OK with their 'D' load range for most of their 17 inchers?

I think I'll stick with the Toyo's and their 'E' load range.
