2006 Seats

Does anyone else find the driver's seat on the 2006 models to be extremely uncomfortable. I have 10,000 miles on my P/U and have been moving the seat around non-stop trying to find a good spot with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

I guess I should be happy that this is the only thing on the entire vehicle that I could find to complain about. . .

Yeah I think my seats in my 02 were twice as comfortable as the seats in the 06. Don't know why they changed the seats like they did but I personally think they suck...... Probably the only thing I really don't care for about the truck.

Now see I'm weird, I like the seats better in my 06 vs my traded in 04. But did notice that in my 04 with the cloth seats vs the 06 with leather the 04's were longer. Extended out to just touch the back of my knees. The 06 seats are 'shorter' on my behind and don't reach to my knees. Also the 06's seem firmer? So far for me the 06 seats are mucho better.

As far as comfort, I think they're about the saem

I DONT like the new color...i liked the dark gray much better than this lighter stuff..

My old truck has power lumbar...This one has manual lumbar, and doesnt seem to stay dialed in place...

the seats in my old 98 ram were cushy( i loved them) the seats in the 2001 ram were firmer(the first thing i noticed where i test drove it), the seats in my 2004.5 don"t seem to have enough padding in them,,but i got used to them now,,,I think DC has been trying to save money on there seats over the years

I've ridden in a couple of 80's Mercedes, and the first thing that impressed me were how firm the seats were. When I first drove the 2003, my initial thought was that it felt like an old Mercedes. I still think that whenever I sit down in the truck.

40/20/40. . . I like how firm the seats are I think it is more the shape and design that makes them uncomfortable.

I had the same problem. The dealer had to take off the seat cover to fix because the lumbar wasn't assembled correctly at the factory.
