2003 E-Brake for $299

Dodge is supposed to have an incentive program out for $500 on the E-Brake on the 2003 HO. MSRP of $799 minus incentive of $500 - - net to buyer, $299 installed. 8) It sounds like that incentive could be applied to other dealer installed accessories also. We all need to check this one out.

Part number is supposed to be 82207410. Would be interesting if all our dealers know about it yet.

Bob

FiverBob,
I asked about this when I ordered mine on Saturday. I was told it was for Commercial customers only. They said I had to have a business or contractors license to qualify. Otherwise its full price. I did not bother to ask about availability.

Latter,
The Boss Hog
FiverBob,
I asked about this when I ordered mine on Saturday. I was told it was for Commercial customers only. They said I had to have a business or contractors license to qualify. Otherwise its full price. I did not bother to ask about availability.

Your dealer was right on. I just hung up from my dealer. It seems they are offering commercial customers some perks when ordering certain dealer installed accessories. The program offer on the EBrake is 38C3R/38F3R. The rebate amount is $500 - - very nice surprise. They are looking for something like a tax ID# or contractor's license number. I didn't inquire what is defined as a "contractor". The requirement for licensing of sub-trades varies dramatically between states.

I should know later this afternoon as to when they can expect to receive the new version EBrake to fit the larger exhaust. They are placing one on order to hopefully receive it by the time the White Ghost arrives. They are also trying to track down body color full length running boards.

I would suspect there are a lot of our guys that could qualify for this rebate for something they are wanting/needing for their new baby. Nice news.

Bob
ps: it does appear there are limitations on this being used in conjunction with some other offers as possibly the Farm rebate.

Checked with dealer on status of the order on the EBrake. The parts number is a good number, but they do not have any in stock. May be another month before they see any. Another slip up - - how long have they known about 4" exhaust???

FrustratedBob

Better check out this so called commercial "license" or whatever for contractor/buisnessman, to my knowledge you don't need no stinking license in this state (PA). When my brother bought his truck several years ago, there was a $500 rebate for contractor/small businessman, so per instructions of a very helpfull salesman he went to a printer, got a minimum order of "business cards" printed up, the salesman submitted one of them along with the rebate forms and it worked.

Ditto that for me, don't want no stinking crew cab bus, just some room for some passengers, dogs, groceries etc. and Dodge has just fit the bill perfectly!

Different strokes for different folks

Hunter

The Dodge interior is a little smaller than the other two so they have carefully stepped around the word "crew" in describing their four door. I love the size of it. I had another couple with us in ours tonight. They were very comfortable.

Bob

Re:2003 E-Brake for $299

Hey Gang. I'm new to this board, but I wanted to add that I received a $300 rebate as a commerical buyer when I bought my 2001. All I provided was my commerical drivers license. I don't drive for a living. I just traded yesterday for a 2003 HO and I saw the incentives listed on the Dodge website for business or commerical buyers. The incentives range from running board, bedrail packages to ladder ranks with a $500 discount off MSRP from Dodge. Since I will probably be changing my exhaust system, I decided not to get the E-Brake. Got one of the tread plate running board packages for $218. All my dealer did was make of copy of my commerical license and I signed the rebate form. No problem. Maybe this will work for some of you folks.

Ronster,

Welcome to the forum.

You got the details correct. I just picked mine up Friday night. $299 for a Jake installed - - $500 discount. I also just had to show contractor's license. Pretty nice - - paid invoice minus $500 for the truck.

Bob
