What do you guys think of a Schwitzer 3LM-299?
What do you guys think of a Schwitzer 3LM-299?
I'm gonna be setting my timing to 16* and grinding myself a 100# plate tonight. I've already tweaked my AFC and a few other Ag pump tweaks that I carried over to this one. I have a transgo shift kit on the way and a three disc goerend TC in the works as well as a set of Nippendenso 7-hole injectors.
EDIT: Forgot to mention already have boost, trans temp, and will be installing a pyro... Also, the compressor side is a Borg/Warner 16 fin 3" inlet design while I believe it has a 3.5" turbine side exit. Was also wondering if anybody knew the specs on a Schwitzer 4LE that I was thinking about getting to use for a twin setup.... Need money to put in my trans first before twins though
What I want to know is if you guys think a Schwitzer 3LM-299 off a 466 (7.6L) International will work well enough in my daily driver. My only concern is turbo lag, but I figured the added fuel should remedy that. I plan on putting a pop-off valve set for 35-40psi on the intake side to cure the non-wastegated housing. I know it's a T3 flange so it would bolt on to my exhaust... Just wanted some input on how much you guys think it would handle.. We run these on our stock class tractors and they push 500hp reall easy...
