I don't post here much just lurk mainly. Though I would share my first impressions on my new 06 Mega Cab. Traded my 03 QC 4X4 in on this truck and one of the first things I noticed was how it felt. Overall the truck is quite, powerfull, and handled very well for such a big truck. It seems very tight and well built. The drivers seat on the 06 is way better than the 03.

The new CTD 610 is really something! Can't wait until I get it hitched to my 5er and get some miles on her to see what she can do. The mileage has been good with the overhead reporting between 18 to 19 mpg with mainly highway miles at 70 MPH. That seems to good to be true because my 03 was getting 18 to 19 with 90k on the clock. I guess time will tell on this.

Now for the not so good. The cup holders are kind of a joke. Not a big deal but for the price of a new one you would think they would come up with a better design. Also the back seat head rest's get in the way of a clear view out the back window. DC also gets a little cheap when it comes to things that you should get standard. (Wheel liners, Hood and glove box lights)

Overall very please with the new ride.

I also just bought a 06 Mega Cab CTD. Trying to use those cup holders at 70mph, is not going to be an easy task.
The thing I dislike the most, is the fact that the key has the door lock and panic buttons on it. As opposed to being placed on a fob. I am constantly hitting the buttons when starting the vehicle.
But then again, if that's all I have to complain about, I guess I am doing alright.
That 610 diesel has insane power.

Isn't the 610 awesome. I just traded an 03 that has 235hp for an 05 325/610. Wow it is pretty amazing the difference in power. Although this time I got 410s and it might be a bit much, fuel mileage is a bit lower. Looks like i'll be buying some 35's or so. Good luck all.
