Mega-Tip for Mega-Cab Owners w/Dogs!!!

I'm sure some of you have folded down your back seats and put your dog(s) back there, only to have them trip and get caught up in the flap that folds up and down with the seat to make it flush. I tried all kinds of bungy cords rigged up and couldn't stop that flap from opening up on my two dogs. One would step on the back part and it would flip open, then the other one would fall in the hole and stop the flap from closing again...total mess. I was worried one of them would eventually break their leg getting caught up in it.

I just noticed with the passenger side storage bin open there is a little plastic tab (it's part of the storage bin) that stops the flap from going any further. Once the seat is folded down, all you have to do is temporarily put that plastic tab on top of the flap and it won't be able to open and trip your dogs!

I had a custom foam pad made covered in some durable denin-like material so Diesel rides on top of all trip-zones in padded comfort!

I will have to check and see if the flap comes up for me easily.
