05 2wd 3500 SLT 4dr LB Dually Weight

I have the above truck and would like to know if anyone has had one on a scale. I need to know the approximate weight of one with the Cummins. I know there are a myriad of options so if you have had yours on a scale before chime in with the basics of your truck and what it weighed.

Thanks,

joe

Best thing you can do is take it to a Flying J (Cat scales) or transfer station, or recycler. This way you know exactally what is going on.

You can add or subtract for fuel at 7 lbs. per gallon.

I was just trying to get an idea how much it would cost me to register my truck in a different state at my other home.

I have the same truck, only in a 2004. My truck with a full fuel tank and no one or nothing in side or in the bed weighs 7140 on a certified truck scale.

Thanks,

It looks like I will have to take my spare and two of duals off to get safely below 7000#'s.

Nah, I weighed in at 7800# with full fuel, me, and some small amount of tools. I have 6 speed but that can't weigh that much.
