Programmer only?

1st of all can you run just the programmer only, with no deletes, I'm assuming you can. My question is do you get the benifits, more power, more mpg, more HP, that they all seem to claim? Also if you run just the programmer, and you have issue under warranty, can you go back to stock and have it fixed at the dealer with out a footprint of ever having a programmer installed.

You can run the Smarty 67 with the ME or without. Meaning you can run the program with or without the deletes but need the right downloaded program for what you want (free download).

I don't think any of the programmers are undetectable and will leave some kind of footprint depending on how hard one looks.

I am very happy with the gains in power and economy.

Like stated above, you can, but the delete offer better gains all around for power, MPG's, and longevity.

No setup is undetectable, even the add on ECM systems like Edge. If they want to find it, they can dig until they do.

No, the Dodge does not.

But the Cummins does.

I'll probably wait till the warrantys out, to do the programmer delete stuff. May be a long wait, only have 22000 on it.

At only 7K miles on my 2007, it would take forever for my warantee to be gone and I could not wait nearly that long to get my truck to clean up its act.

Yes, it pretty much is. It is my tow truck and all purpose fun machine. Warantee will be gone and it still won't be broke in yet. Otherwise I just abuse the 96 Camry on a daily basis .

Like me, I have a older prius to do the gocery getting.

So you guys with the deletes, what do you do when you get a flash update from dodge, hook everything back up, or ignore the notice?
On a full delete, do you do just the egr, or the cooler part also, and whats the differance.
some one said 1400 for the deletes, or around that, the pipe and egr stuff is pretty cheap, so its the controllor that cost the most?
Thanks

i just ignore the flash notices cause they're for the emissions anyway and you will just undo it when you plug the programmer back in is what i understand of it so far
