Looking for a gearbox housing to convert a 6.7L engine to P7100 injection pump

Been wanting to install a 6.7L engine into my 02. I want to install a P7100 pump on the engine. Anybody know where I can locate a gearbox housing? Probably just easier to install the 6.7L crank into a VP storm block, giving you around 6.4L engine.

Woodruff diesel sells a kit I believe.

How hateful is it to use the 6.7 crank on a 5.9 for a nice stroker motor?

I was going to run a VP head on the engine. Enterprise sells one as well.

Super pricey, going to try a different way. I have a couple spare 6.7L laying around so I can try out a few different set-up and see how they work.

Got both for a smoken price. $1800 is too much for me, might just throw a 6.7L crank into my 5.9L VP storm block. Probably alot cheaper than getting that gearbox housing.

Going to run a P7100 on the engine or a VP. Just not sold on the CR stuff yet. Seen to many CR engine melt down, for me to send any money to get one under the hood of my 02.

Mr Blake, by all means come on up. We usually gather every night for a welding/beer gathering

Mike that would be one heck of a project...

It would be one heck of a road trip too, but I can promise, if I ever end up pipelining within a couple hundred miles of ya, Id sure make a run over.

To me the 6.7L just pulls a trailer much better than the 5.9L does. Ya I can crank up the power, but why should I have to.

Funny you meantion pipelining, I working this week on an oil pipeline. They had a few pipe fittings fail on a few of the pumps at the station. My job to find out what caused them to fail. Buddy, if you make it up here, I'll probably help you weld up a set of twins onto your ride.

Ok the truth be told, I'll just watch, other people do the work...

Ha! Thats all I do too, watch!

Im a welding inspector. I watch other people weld nowadays.

Twins isnt out of the question on the '11. I want to go the way of a pulling/towing increases. Like you said, it does a good job as is, but, there is always the want for more.

It will have to wait though. Im gonna delete it eventually, but right now the wife and I are looking to sell the house we are in and build on family property. Gotta get my boys in a proper home soon. Priorities first. Play second.

I'm certain that the Airdrie team will get my 2010 dialed in decently, I'll take some pictures so you can get your's done. The 4th gens have lots of plastic stuff on the passenger side of the engine, unlike the earlier years.

We can easily build a set of twins, but I want to retain the stock HE351vgt turbo (just throw in a larger impeller in that turbo), its going to abit more tricky than the typical twins build. We probably giver a try later in summer on my 2010 ride. Just too busy right now, we have three other truck to build twins to get done.

I also have a set of injectors for my 2010 that had some work done to them. Just a small 100HP increase.

Sure fun to drive a big power truck.
