its not as easy or cheap as it used to be, buy a RaceMe tuner or find an older smarty or H&S used on ebay.
the smarty cant have "US" in the model number in order to do the deletes and the older H7S stuff has to be called a race tuner not the new street tuner

Ok thx and I have looked on eBay . That's were I'm getting confused. There are some on there that say new H&S race tuner and and say you can delete everything with this tuner? How can this be ? I was told they stopped making them in 011? Also if I buy a used one and it has a vin # on the screen will it still work for my truck? Just makes me nervous to spend 1500-2000 on an used HS race tuner and have it not work! I will look on eBay a little closer and maybe. There is a phone # that I can call to talk to them in person Thanks for all your help!

it is possible to delete with an H&S tuner that is a brand new built tuner. The only way it is possible is to apply to H&S to get their high sulphur unlock code, in order to qualify for the code you MUST live in a part of the world where USLD is not available, eg....Mexico, Australia, the middle east, if you know someone in these parts of the world you are set

Update on delete

Ok found a H&S race tuner and did a complete delete. Put in a 4" turbo back exhaust too. All I can say is Wow!!!! This is like a new truck!!!
After a few days running I went and loaded the trans software. Now you talk about a nice shifting trans !!!! I really glad I did this to my truck!!! Now I'm looking forward to camping to see how it works out there too!!!!
I would like some input on what to set my limits too ? Egt's boost, cold coolant temp, hot coolant temp, trans temp? Thanks for all the help.
Ps not looking for a race truck just for safe then sorry settings lol

If I remember right I'm running EGT set at 1400 because when I had it set at 1200 it would defuel and then throw tons of fuel back into the mix as soon as the egts fell off again, makes for a very unhappy transmission when towing heavy. cold coolant temp 120 or 130, hot coolant temp 200, trans temp 180. hope they help with a good starting point for you
