Deleting the 6.7: A guide to making it run right!
Done
Did the Mega Deletes with my "Smarty Jr. me version" Set the setting to "Standard" does that delete the regen ?( me version does this by default)-Thanks Mega found your post
What is Economy setting ? and how does that compare to the standard setting ?
Can someone tell me about these setting for the Smarty
I'm not looking for HP I want fuel mileage and a better running truck.
Injection Timing & Torque settings these should be left at "stock" I assume.
Thanks for your input.

oxygen sensors with picture
In the delete process it says to unplug 5 plugs, 3 temp and 2 oxygen plugs. 3 temp senors are on the deleted DPF AND NOX filter section of the exhaust.
The oxygen ones are just after the Catalytic converter ?

In the pic it shows an oxygen sensor but isn't the other one a Cat temp sensor, My Edge Insight gives me Cat temps and this is only place that temp can be picked up from that I see, so does this need to be unpluged also. Just want to make sure I'm reading and understanding this correctly. Thanks for your feedback.

Robby: When you say that standard is half the stock power, you mean half of Dodges power before deletes ? Because it still has lots of get up a go, I really see no difference in performance, still lots of power.

Also, the smaller probes on the exhaust are the temp probes, the larger ones are the O2 sensors.

Blake: Thanks for the feedback. I saw your answer on my other post, I'm now a little smarter thanks to you.

Standard setting is half power?
I am so confused by so many postings using similar verbage, with similar numbers, but never stating real numbers.
I'd like to hear someone say they have dyno'd their truck and post "This is what you get with this setting!"
I think I'll head down to the Meet and Greet in Penn. next month so that I can do just that. Dyno the truck on "Fuel Economy" and on "Standard" to get some real numbers.
What are the other settings avail. on a Smarty JR? Towing and...
after deletes
OK I've got 300 plus miles since the deletes. All was set to stock/standard and I turned down the power with POD function to 80%. Truck still has plenty of get up and go. I did note that the rpms are higher before it shifts and I think I read that would happen with turning down the power. The thing that concerns me is that it seems to start harder, meaning it turns over a bit longer before it fires up.
Anybody had any thing like that with their trucks ?

Gauges are not a difficult install, if you can do the deletes, you can do gauges as well. Just take your time with them.
