Here is the story. I got the Smarty Jr. not ME and Edge Insight AFE stage two Cold air Intake. Milage sucks, So I did the EGR clai delete, Took out the plunger and spring, disconnected both of the wiring connectors. Unable to do the DPF delete, can or should I load the ME ? If I do canm I run EGR delete only and not the DPF. I really do not like the check engine light on with the EGR delete only and not able to do the DPF. What is the opinion of the group ?

Sorry John, I have better things to do than keep everything up to date. Do you think someone would ask about a new truck and not have one ? Just a little picky. I need help not your petty criticisim. If you cannot help stay out of the way. It is a 2010, 3500 with a 5.9 oh sorry 6.6 oh sorry 6.7. Give a guy a break. I will up date the sig just for you.

According to your first post, you have your truck way out of wack. With the 4th gens the Smarty has a delete in place system, but that is with the ME software. With the S software you should not have anything unplugged at all, thats what its designed for, stock. However, you could get away with the EGR unplug, but I would not recommend unplugging the Throttle Valve and the EGR Cooler Servo with the Smarty S tuning.
If you load the ME tuning, you must deleted the DPF and NOX, its gonna soot up pretty bad. You dont have to unplug anything under the hood, when running the ME software, but can do full deletes if so desired.

The Stock version of the Smarty Software already disables the function of the EGR without having to pull any plugs. But unplugging the EGR motor will derate up to 40 hp. That circuit is needed for the Smarty to operate properly.
Do not run the ME software unless you have removed the DPF system or you will not be running for long.
