You can break anything and everything by modifying. My suggestion is a properly and fully built trans. Call HTS transmissions and the power can now be applied. This is the best money you will spend on the truck.

I would also recommend a downloader w/o the Edge. There is NO substitute.

I would also look into a turbo upgrade. Call High Tech Turbo for this.

After this, your biggest concern will be keeping your truck under control when power is applied.

I really dont care about my trans. I have a 70k powertrain warranty so the trans doesnt bother me and the dealers here are all very mod friendly as long as you keep on doing business with them.

 

The point I think they were trying to make is that you can add all the power you want to that motor and that sloppy stock tranny is never gonna put it to the wheels. The more power you add, the more you are going to lose because the transmission is going to slip even more. And slippage = heat, and heat = sitting on the side of the road with a shot tranny. Start saving - i know i am.
