Horsepower TV- why gassers suck!!

They spent $480 on an intake, flat tappet cam, lifters and Q-jet for a small block Chubby and went from 290 H.P./326 Tq to 304 H.P./345 Tq.

Puh-leeze! My ugly beater first-gen went from 160/400 to 270/530 with just the turn of a screw!

Otherwise a pretty cool show and Courtney Hansen doesn't cause any harm, either.

That is a cool show, but I've noticed they seem to spend insane amounts of money and get very small improvements each time...and yes, Courtney is a main reason I watch all of powerblock instead of just trucks and extreme 4x4. Our Matco guy has one of her signed calendars from when he went to their tool show

Courtney Hansen is 1,000,000 percent better than the FIRST "hostess" they had on Powerblock.

Anyone still remember Michelle Spaziano?

SHE was the reason I stopped watching until I heard she was replaced.

You ain't kidding...I almost forgot about her...thanks!

Yeah, those shows are pretty lame nowadays.

How many times can you watch them build Chevy 350's and Ford 302's.

Stacey David was the only one worth watching, IMO.

That's because they don't really spend any money. They get parts from their sponser, then show them off. Although there's often a lot of good info, it's also a commercial.

Moste experianced hot rodders could get double the power for half the money.

Got to meet Courtney last year in person @ the Sema show. For the amount clowns she has to put up, seemed nice enough. @ least she comes from drag racing, her family owns Braineard nhra track in minnesota. She is a way better host than danica patrick.

Courtney is why we have blonde jokes, the more she talks the dumber she gets. I do agree she is fine to look at. I also agree about Stacey. He knows his stuff, they made a big mistake when they got rid of him. Is he on any other channel?
