Where Does EZ Boost Elbow Go??
I was going to install my boost elbow today because I never installed it when I put the EZ on. However, I seem to have lost the instructions and I'm not sure exactly where (on the turbo I presume) the boost elbow is supposed to go.
Any help??

Yep, it goes on the turbo. There's a small vacuum hose that goes to the elbow from the wastegate. The hardest part is taking a few things apart to get to it. The hose is crimped on the OE elbow so make sure you have the small clamps that come with the elbow, as you can't re-use the other clamps easily. Don't overtighten the new elbow when installing. Sorry if my answer seems vague, but I'm going off memory from last October when I installed my EDGE EZ.

I scanned it but i cant get it from there to this reply box. I could e-mail the page to you, or instructions are on edge web site. www.edgeproducts.com/instructions.html
You can print up another manual. I did this before I ordered the ez to see how easy the install would be.

Pull the intake tube off from the air box to the turbo. On the front side of the turbo close to the bottom you will see a little hose going into a fitting with a sealed clamp on it. Pry the hose off with a screwdriver. Pull the old elbow off and put the new one in. I was able to reuse the stock clamp with no problem but you may have to use the one they supply when you put the hose back on.
Pretty simple. Like me....

Found it....installed it....piece of cake. Thanks for the help.
I do not have gauges yet so I don't what affect the boost elbow has on EGT's. The truck does seem to have some more pep, but that could be my imagination.

I think the whole purpose of the elbow is to increase boost and therefore keep you EGT's lower. I don't think it's actually supposed to give any more power. It just FELT more powerful....but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I took the EZ off for about a week and then put it AND the elbow back on. BIG difference between stock power and EZ power.
