You also want a 5.5" or 6" backspacing.

The Velocity is 18x8.5 with 5.14 BS. Is that close enough or will they rub ?

You'll be fine w/ the 285's in your sig. The only problem (if you don't mind the look) they will stick out some past the wheel well. If your thinking on bigger tires. Then stick to a 5.5" or 6" BS. Ideally a 6" BS w/o rubbing your upper control arm at full lock or the back corner of the front wheel well and still tucked in like the stock wheel.

I have the BW flares on already so I hope it won't be to bad. The 285' are 17's not sure what i will run with the 18's. The good thing is i got a Kore leveling kit in garage ready to go on.

Tauberson... Also the wheels you linked to in the first post were for a Ford.
8 lug x 170 MM is a Ford. You will need 8 x 6.5 for the Dodge

I just put on 20" wheels with 35x12.5x20 tires - the wheels had 4.5" of BS (I believe) and they rub a bit. Just an FYI.
