What's next??

I tow 28' trailer in summer loaded for weekend racing otherwise daily driver. Looks like fuel pressure and transmission should be next steps but which one first? If trans I would like ($) to get away with just a single disc torque converter but not sure if I need a valve body or simply a shift kit to make it work. My goals are simply to make the truck more grin inducing and hopefully head problems off before they arise. I change the tran fluid once a year and it has always been fine so far but the Superchips on performance during the week may change that quickly.

I do not have a fuel pressure gauge yet but looks like at the power levels I'm at for reliability's sake it would be a good idea.

Thanks for the advice.

Running any tuner on performance demands a trans upgrade. I wouldn't go with a single disk, I do tripple since you tow with it. Tq converter/valve body are what are commonly regarded as the min upgrade.

Valve body that much different than a shift kit? I guess what is different in a towing valve body that a shift kit doesn't do?
