whats the best charge air cooler

I was wondering what the best intercooler is? I have heard of banks, bd, cooltwist, and spearco. If there are any other brands let me know. I am just looking for the best intercooler out there, thanks.

We use extruded tube technology. This is much more efficient than the standard tube and fin (stock, Banks) We have large inlet tubes, more surface area and with our new cast end tanks are able to handle a very high boost number. We have seen temperature drops in the range of 300deg from inlet to outlet with less than 1psi of pressure loss. Give us a call.

bd i/c

i've been running a bd on mine for a while now and has held up to 73 psi and the fit and install was a cake walk. a local guy keeps them in stock for a great price and he almost gave me mine from a pulling truck that went non i/c and all water injection. look around they are out there for under 1200/1300. jegs and summit is insane for wanting $1650.

Talked to Dave at HTT a few days ago. The new unit they have (not the one on the website) has been flow tested against the rest available at this time. He said that the only one out there that flows close is the BD at 50cfm less. Everything else falls short.
Here is the new HTT unit. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=183442

It's $13?? from HTT but here's a little better deal. http://www.powerbypoole.com/home.html

bd i/c

what broke my heart (or wallet) was when i picked my intercooler up from the shop i purchased it at the new guy there showed me the paperwork and i saw the cost of the piece. it was under $1000 but the owner said he would beat any price i found and he did so i really cant complain. just knowing there was a lot left to dicker with so everyone else that gives you a good idea how much of a markup there is!!!
