so I wouldn't roast my clutch I set my Jr Revo down to #1, TM-2,TQ-2. I tow a 26ft toy hauler that is about 6.5K loaded and it gets pulled over some pretty high passes that way no problems or worries.

The rest of the time I set it at #2, Tm-2 Tq-2 Not ready to drop the SB clutch in just yet. Wish I had the funds I would do it now.

with my con ofe and the HTb2 62/12

305/555 I have found TNT v55 tq stock timing 3 SW3 pressure 1 i get the best power and least smoke while towing without any

305/555 mileage towing and good all around driving 4.11 with mild torque management on SW7 was my favorite and the best performer mileage and towing wise even with the stock turbo i rarely had egt problems otherwise SW5 worked good to with stock turbo no egt issues

modified HE351 from an 05 diesel on an 03 305/555 with smarty on SW7 zero egt issues. with REVO v55 ive had alot more problems with smoke, surging, popping so unfortunately i can not report on that program it has had compatibility issues with my rig

I towed about 8klbs with my Smarty set on sw3, tq stock, rp1, tm4 and had no issues. It was a little smokey but that doesn't bother me.

I tow on #2, haven't tried anything else or any of the revo and it works great for me just started to get way better mileage too, just watch your gages seems to be good between 600-900degrees and about 10-18 psi, if not towing the highest I went is 5, also I just got my smarty

I have towed my 27' 5th wheel in 3 with the EZ on mid power and had to clean a little soot off the side of the trailer, turned down the EZ and all was well. Although I also had the upgraded Tranny...I don't think I would do it with a stock tranny.

I tow my car hauler (loaded 10K lbs) on level 3. Kept the EGTs in check pulling some extended 7-9% grades, just had to keep an eye on it.

Now if you had the PoD you could set it on kill and then find the right point while driving.

Try an odd #. With the added timing, it will run cooler and should net you better mileage. I've towed 8k with my TNT on sw 5 with my pod at 40%. No issues at all.

With a 5,000 lb load,I would try sw 5 or 7 and set timing on 3 and rail pressure on 2.It should net mpg and stay cool while fun to drive.
