i want 2 get a clutch here soon, or actually i need a clutch here soon,, its hard 2 go into reverse sometimes, and sometimes it grinds with the clutch 2 the floor. and 2nd to 3rd shifts, its hard to go into 3rd.... but anyways, what would be best best clutch but not too expensive, i want a single disc too, more of a stock feel clutch... i have no chip on it right now, later on i might add the edge juice, but that would be it..

Do you want something that will hold more power, or do you just want something to replace the stock clutch and be as good or a little better? If you want to go stock-ish then go with something like a LuK Gold (~$300). If you want something better look into Southbend. They do make replacements that are not dual-disc. The single disk will run you between $600 and $1000 though, depending on how much power you need it to hold.

where would i get the LUK clutch at? and also the southbend?? a diesel shop here priced me the southbend single disc installed for $1300..how does that sound?

BTW, the whole reverse thing, would that be the clutch or what? i found out today to my transmission sensor is bad too, iam gettin it replaced right now, i found it out cause my reverse lights quit working, and i replaced the bulbs & they still didnt work...

I'm down south a ways, about 2 miles from the alabama line in lincoln county.

I would say I live in fayetteville but still ant a big enough towm for many people to know where it's at.

You pretty much get what you pay for. I have a LUK on my slightly modified Ford F-250 gasser and if I get into it pulling out in traffic towing my boat I can slip it. Got a good price but disappointed in performance.

South Bend is more expensive but have not heard anything negative about it. Will be installing one in the near furture in my RAM.
