It looks like the coolingmist CMGS-FS Diesel EGT kit is a nice kit. Anyone have experience with this kit? A little pricey though.

The problem for me is that there are SO MANY options it gets a little confusing. Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the help. BTW my intake horn has 2 large ports and 1 small port left free.

From my end,......you are very welcome rock crawler! I know that Robert feels the same way too. You are right that there is "alot of options" from "mild to wild!" But,......I know you will find a system that will work good for your vehicle.

Good luck!

So I just ordered the snow stage 2 kit. Going to be using it for hi egts while towing. Its been getting kinda cold here, supposed to be 18 tonight. I guess I can use windshield wiper fluid,as long as it doesnt have glycol in it right? And what kind of mix? I ordered the 7 gallon tank also. I was thinking 6 gallons of distilled water, and 1 gallon of the peak windshield wiper fluid. How does that sound? Is that enought to keep it from freezing? Is that to much meth for towing?

Peak, I think, is not a methanol mix? be sure to check the label. If it doesn't say Methanol...don't use it.
Your talking 20% meth in wiper fluid watered down x 6. 3.3% meth may not be enough , depending on your temps, and how long it stays below 32*. I'd go ALL Wiper fluid... in winter at least.
20% is not a lot of meth. Have studs?

No I dont have studs. And yes peak had meth in it, dont know how much but it was the minus 20 stuff. So around 20% will be ok to tow with? Thanks. Is this to much cylinder pressure to not have studs?

I know some of the 03 systems are still 2nd Gen stuff so it depends.......
If 03's have full metal gasket and are machined for head fit, like the later models...you're fine.
If not...if head and gasket are like the 2nd gens, I would not run meth at all, without studs.

Anyone looked into running multiple smaller nozzles that have finer micron atomization than larger nozzles. I would think there would be better distribution of smaller water molecules than larger ones.

RLL:

Yes, I did awhile back and it helps, but it still does not do as good a job as putting the nozzles right into the ports of the intake manifold.
