Is anyone or has anyone ran this setup? If so any dyno #s. Thinking of going to this setup and a DTT T/C,VB. Does anyone know if this tranny mod will be enough for those upgrades?

 

Yeah that should be enough for the tranny.
Why VA and why B1 though?

 

I like the Van Aaken b/c it doesn't raise pressure and I'm just lookin for low 400 hp. I figured this would be a good setup. I'm willing to try any turbo as long as I can afford it.

 

What's wrong with the B-1? Works great for me. Only have a Hot Juice with it. See my signature.

EGT's are below 1500* until over 105 mph. Of course I also tow with it.

 

Nothings wrong with the B1.
But with it costing in the neighborhood of $1800+ for a wastegated version and a turbo that is equivalent or better (PHAT SHAFT62!) that can be had for a little more than half of that price its a no brainer.
