I have decided to go with a bhaf, and want to know what I need beside the filter like clamps etc. I have the torque tube from afe, will the 2790 filter with a 4 inch inlet fit right up to the torque tube?

 

hey will the torque tube mate up to the bhaf filter without any mods? And will it sit right without rubbing the hood?

 

I made my own torque tube and had to put a piece of pipe inside the air filter inlet and also iside the TT because the two were the same diameter. Mine does rub on the hood but I also modded my airbox to keep some of the road spray off the filter. Basically, I cut the walls off the airbox and the filter just sits on the floor now. Before I put the airbox back in my filter rubbed the hood very slightly.....

 

Graphite, give me another week or so and I'll be making a detailed post with pictures about how I install my BHAF, including part numbers, prices and vendors. Mine will be similar to Dodgezilla's, but not quite the same.

 

I'm getting my filter today...Hopefully the elbows too....I'll be posting as well
