Upgrade turbo for 2006
I have been thing about a tubo upgrade for my 2006 6 speed 4x4 that have afe in the fact. box torqe tube S.ring removed getting new cat back system also it have superchip programer. should i go with htb2 62-12 or htb2 64-14 turbo. Drive every day more city driving. NEED HELP

I have the HTB2 62-14. It spools a little slower than stock. I'd say it raised where the power comes on about 150 RPM's. If I was to do it again I would go with a 12 cm housing. I recently found out that these housings are larger than holsets so a 12 in a HTB2 is actually a little bigger than a 14 in a holset.

So you think the 64-14 is to big or just right. I was taking to the tech at ETRDP he said for all around use great mid rang and he said not to much difference in spool up the 14 will lower my egt's.

If you don't plan on any more mods the 12 will flow plenty and it should spool a little quicker. The 14 may run a little cooler at WOT but the 12 should spool quicker and still run way cooler than your stocker. The 12 should be a better choice for your 6 speed and city driving without more mods.
