Unplug it?
My trucks going to the dealer tomorrow for a problem I'm having with my 4wd and was curious if I should unplug my Edge? The dealer knows I have it and isn't concerned about it but I may have him recalibrate for my tires while it's there. Do I need to disconnect it at all? If I disconnect it without removing it do I just need to unplug the data port on the bottom of the motor or all the injector plugs also? Thanks...
If your dealer is ok with it, then leave it. Of course there is the possibility that a DC/Star regional person could be around just looking. If you want to remove it, you should remove all of the connections and plug all stock connectors back in. The Juice will not interfere with reprogramming the tire size ("Pinion Factor").
Last time I was at the dealer for my $26.95 Oil/Filter change, which turned out to be 5th and free, I had everything on. Told em to be carefull and not run over anything in the garage. I heard them in the garage reving enough to see what it sounded like.
I have not had any dealer programming done since I added everything, but the Edge cannot modify the pinion factor. Not sure it can even read it. According to Edge none of my transmission monitoring or protection works because I have had my "Pinion Factor" reprogrammed for the 315s by the dealer. I dont care since the tc/trans was completely built for racing, but it is irritating.

Do you have life insurance?
If you do, then you are a safe guy. Unplug it, tuck it away under your seat. Take the 5 minutes to unplug it and then the 5 minutes to plug it back in when they're done.
