Question Unplug MAP sensor.?

What is the result of unplugging the MAP sensor? Will it cause anything negative when hauling heavy loads? Or daily driving? Thanks!

It confuses the computer thinking your at full boost so it increases fuel, giving you more low end, high end is the same, but you "must" have a timing chip such as a edge comp hooked up or you will have just about zero power, I have it done on mine, and I love the difference on the low end, and it smokes more, if thats important

I have mine unplugged on mine but i have heard that it doesn't play too well with the Juice. Try it and see. Make sure you leave it plugged into the Juice and only unplug it from the block.

What about hauling with it unplugged? Will that be detramental in any way? I have the Juice hooked up to everything right now, and the wire is tapped. I'll have to try it sometime, that's great it helps the low end on take off.

Doesn't unplugging the MAP turn on the engine light?

You'll be fine with your EZ. Try it you'll like the off the line power it gives you along with the smoke.
I haven't had any problems towing with it unplugged.

been running mine like that for 4 months, no check engine light, but I've read that it acts different with the comp and the juice, but you should just be able to unplug the map plug from the block only, leave the bypass on the juice wire. I think if you research "map sensor" you might be able to find some info on it while you wait for replies.

How much smoke do you get with nothing but the EZ and the sensor unplugged?

I have mine unpluged with a comp box, the check engine light comes on but after a couple key on key off cycles it goes away, it gives real quik throttle response!
