Can I get a Monitor instead of gauges?

Is it possile to run a Monitor, like the Edge Monitor or the Bully dog and not have to use thier programs? I like the look of amonitor more than gauges. I plan to do a TST powermaxcr stack with an edge EZ in the future. What are my options for a monitor? Thanks.

The Bully Dog unit can be used by itself, i'm not sure about Edge's. I only know about what I own. If you are interested in the Bully Dog's unit I will give you a good price on mine, I have it mounted in the SRT pillar. I am just thinking about going back to analog guages...

The Edge Attitude monitor will only work with the Juice module installed. It is not a standalone monitor.

You can also get a palm PDA with software to monitor your engine outputs. You can use this with anything.

How is instalation of the monitors compared to the analog gauges? Do you have to do any drilling into the manifold or anything of the sort, or is it just plug & play per se?

You still have to install a pyrometer and boost line, so yes you do have to drill and tap your manifold for the pyrometer. It is a pretty simple install though.
