Turbo lag and boost?

I have the HTT 62/65/13ss and 1.8 injectors and Revo #7. Driving around normal the boost will be 0 most of the time, without getting on it I have seen a high of around 5psi. If I get on it hard it will hit 39psi. From a dead stop and flooring it it takes almost 6 secs to raise the boost over 10 but then goes up fast, the truck moves a little bit for the 6 secs then takes off good.
Is this normal for a turbo and injectors?

You will likely find that if you give it 3/4 instead of full throttle for the initial off line and then ease into 100% that it will actually be faster off the line and to build boost. You are overloading your turbo with too much initial fuel. Also, make sure your TM is on 4.

It seems to be very easy to overload the turbo, I took the 4.2 off for that reason. How much did the twins help in spool and cooling?

Omaharams words are spot on!

Looks like you're needing the 71 wheel for better drive pressure ratio.

- Is that a good enough answer for you?

I didn't go with the 71 because I am at 7000'. I will try 3/4 pedal and TM 4.

How many miles on the turbo? Seems to take a while for new turbos to loosen up, a good 1-2K miles.
