I noticed that you can order a turbo back pipe either to fit directly to the turbo or the elbo. What is the difference either way?

It is a 2003 Ram 3500 4x4 Dually with the non HO motor. The only mods at this point is removal of stock exhaust and a 4 inch installed but the turbo down pipe.

I jiust wanted to know which one to order off this site from MSBR. They offer the turbo pipe to hook up to the stock elbow or eliminate it all together. Which is better?

 

The exhaust system I put on bolted up to the turbo and eliminated the stock elbow. I like it, went on easy,4" tubo back, eliminates a clamp, eliminates the need for the 4" elbow if you have the one that tapers down to 3 1/2.
