what is the best way to install on engine?? Mount on the boost horn or use the hollow bole. Where would you put the bolt?? thanks for the help

 

I went the hollow bolt route since it came with my gauge. Check my "Members Photo Gallery." I have two good pics that show where I put the bolt. Warning though....the instructions with my gauge told me to replace an intake manifold bolt with the hollow bolt and torque to specifications, but didn't give the specifications. Looked it up in the service manual and it said to torque this manifold bolt to 18 ft lbs. I didn't even reach 10 ft lbs and it broke off in the intake. Used an easy-out to remove it and got a new bolt from the shop that sold me the gauge. Reinstalled hand tight plus one full turn with a ratchet with a little high temp RTV thread sealer to ensure I didn't have boost leaks. All is good but that was a pain in the butt. Hope this helps.
