I installed a Edge EZ on my truck last year and loved the extra performance...Recently, my truck seems to be iddling wierd. Its hard to describe in words but it is noticable. I pulled the box off and reconnected the stock wires and sure enough, it iddles perfect. I took off the cover and noticed that on the third set of pins from the left, one the pins was missing. I know I didn't break it off and I can't figure out how it broke.

I was wondering if anyone know a lot about these boxes and if that could be my problem. I called the guy who I bought it from and he is sending me a replacement module. I guess we will see when I replace the module, but hate driving without the extra power....

I just put an Edge EZ on mine and the pins on the left are for storing the jumpers ONLY. I also noticed the single one you mentioned but really didn't care because it is for holding the pins and has no other function. If you need the instructions I have a set I can fax you or maybe scan/email. Or call edge. Please let me know what they tell you re the idle.

 

Mine is also missing that storage pin.....
