Angry TST & codes

I installed POWERMAXCR R49 tuesday, went for test drive and set codes P2146 & P2149 (injector group 1 & 2 supply voltage). Checked injector connectors several times and all seem good, codes only set when I go above 2 - 2. Truck falls on its face and doesn't respond to throttle & then runs rough for 10 to 15 seconds after getting off throttle. It's definitely not getting fuel but fuel pressure gauge stays around 7 lbs. while this is happening. Talked to TST and they sent me a new box but I still have the same problem so now i'm think'n injector harness. Maybe the injectors are drawing more amps with the longer duration and the harness can't handle this and thats why it runs good up to level 2 - 2 (less duration). Anybody have this problem before?

Double, triple check the front injector plug connections.

Checked all injector connections at least 10 times. If it was a connection I would think it would do it all the time not just above 2 - 2. Truck runs good on 2 - 2 and lower, including box off and bypass installed.

try a new harness to totally rule out the TST.

I found the problem removed convoluted cover and found a wire that splits off to 2 wires covered with heat shrink and noticed bare wire hanging out, tugged on wire and it came out. Soldered wires together and it runs great now. Now that its fixed I have another ? When accelerating hard and then letting off I get alot of rattle is this normal with a TST or is it because I have the timing advanced and need to back it off?

Red, Are you still running the BDTDog and the Tone ring Mod. It sounds like you are a little ahead on timing. The TST does way more timing than the other boxes. The BD adds timing and the tone ring adds timing at all boost pressures. The TST only adds timing according to boost. On mine I get a rattle around 15psi when timing is pretty well maxed but fuel is still just moderate. Glad to hear you found the problem.... Was that on the TST harness or the installers wiring? ks

Sounds somewhat similar to what happened to me.... Only mine was caused by the timing harness making contact with rotating parts

I sold the tripledog, didn't like upping the fuel pressure. Can't believe how much cooler the TST runs, BD TD @75mph 730* TST @ 75mph 580*. TST on 5-5 wot only hits 1300* for a sec. then settles around 1200*. TST recomends 4-4 max for a stock auto trans but this feels soft so i've been running 5-5 with no slip or heat issues, how high is safe? Wire was in TST harness to injectors.
