TST & CODES 0336/2149
Well I have been running the R49 TST for about a month now. This morning on the way home from work my truck stumbled for about 4 seconds, triggered the check engine light, then cleared up and ran fine. Box on level 1/0 under light throttle. Set codes 0336 & 2149. I still have the CEL but the truck and box seem to operate fine now. I looked up the codes and think I read that they were a crank position and a #2 injector harness problem. I have checked all connections several times but still have the CEL. I read that the CEL will clear itself after so many key cycles. Have any of you talked to TST and got an explanation of this condition. Love the power but dont want to start having trouble with the truck. What gives? Thanks.
The 0336 code comes from "cold" weather lugging at 1200 RPM's. It can be avoided....but it is just a small quirk unfortunatley. Don't set high idle when warming up at that speed...or every lug the truck down that low...hot or cold and you will never see it again.
The other one...may be a harness issue. Call TST to double check.
