Arrow P245A & P061A codes with AV flash & G-30

Anyone have any ideas on why I would get the P245A code with having all the latest updates? Truck is at the dealer now and these are my first codes (@2K miles).

I think the P061A might of had to do with getting the lightning bolt upon engageing the high idle one morning. Shut truck off and turned on and it was gone. Never got a CEL from this though (about 3 weeks ago).

I was actually on the way to the dealer to address bad air flow in my MC and the CEL turned on for the first time.

Last week, I had done some good towing (500 miles) and then the truck sat for all last week. I started it up in the moring yesterday, high idle to warm up with the E-brake engaged, and everything seemed fine. I drove 8 minutes to drop the kids off at school.

When I restarted the truck to take it to the dealer, what do you know? Bing, the CEL came on for the first time. I turned the truck on/off a couple times before and at the dealer and it was still there.

They pulled the two subject codes, of which the P245A concerns me the most. I've read a lot of stories on that code in this forum, and it seemed that flashes were supposed to fix it, but mine is really updated. Does the AW flash having ANYTHING to with helping this? If not, what is the AW supposed to be for?

Any help/wisdom/ideas is appreciated, thanks.

I believe AW addresses the temperature rationality codes.

I wouldn't worry about the P061, it is probably from the ETC you got with the high idle. I had that once also.

The P245 probably means you need the EGR cleaned out. Do you drive a lot of short trips?

Yes, I do a fair amount of short trip driving. I'd say over the 2K miles I have that 1/3 has been short trip driving (5 miles to work and such), but 2/3 has been towing my loaded 10K+ toyhauler...

I've never had any CEL issue since I bought in August. Just had the recall done last month and flash from AU to AV...

The dealer is going to replace something as the service writer said something was on order, but he didn't say what... New EGR system? I'm pretty interested...
