I'd say you've got the right idea. I'd also do something with the flex plate.

when I had my Goerend stuff put in, I had an extra clutch put in front and back packs....... took a few thousandths of machine work to get the last one to fit, but they are in there.

My bad on the Goerend tranny. I know he didn't use to do it, but apparently he has come around with all the huge power people are making.

I'm from the Dallas area and need some transmission work done. I am having a leak fixed and having a Goerend VB, DTT flex plate, and 1 piece Sonnax Billet input shaft installed (already have Goerend TC). I was thinking of using James Trans. Tech. in Midlothian or Tim Holt in Denton. Anyone had experience with either?
