any body have Recommendations based off my signature for what i need in my trans. i plan on goin with a bigger turbo and injectors. but thats it. would a TC,VB,and billet input shaft be fine for that setup? im trying not to go over my budget here with the transmission. Its winter, work is slow, and trans needs a rebuild.

go with HTS or goerend.dont be cheap when it comes to the trans, do it all one time with either of them.

x2 on Goerend, Dave is a great guy with awesome customer service. And his transmission is very tough, Like others have said it would be best to do it right the first time. Piece of mind is a great thing so I wouldn't cut any corners, that 100,000 mile warranty is nice too.

HTS gets my vote! top notch customer service and a dang good tranny! Always get compliements on how well my trans shifts and a really put her through the paces with no issues.

You cant go wrong with any of the suggested trans builders HTS, Goerend, or Suncoast all make a very nice trans.

 

another vote for goerend, and a hint, Goerend's site has an authorized installer / interactive map...... click on your state and then find one near you.

 

The question wasn't so much as who, but what. With the power you are talking about having, you need to have your clutch packs upgraded. Dave Goerend is a great guy and does great work, but last I checked he didn't add any clutches to the packs - only upgraded to better ones. You are going to need a stout tranny to hold 600+hp.

PM Tim Holt...he can mod your tranny to your specs.....upgraded my VB, TC and clutch packs........everything is HD................puts the power to the ground and gets 22+ in town.
