trans
It depends on what you want to/have already done to the truck. Rule of them with most stock Transmissions is that they start to protest with more than 90 extra horsepower added to them. A Torque converter and valve body will help but depending on how old your trans is, if you are over 110k miles I would just save up for a rebuild and go easy on it. I would also check out some brands other than ATS, they make a good product but expensive, Goerend, HTS and Suncoast seem to make a good trans too! Fill out your signature so we can have an idea of what you have and where you want to be.

i have an 04.5, and i was wondering how good my tranny would hold up or if i would get any benefits installing an ats converter and valve body.
