First of all - it isn't a claim, but an observable fact that has been anecdotally reported in this thread & others...
here's a typical empirical result for you:
Bumper-pull WW with over 1800# of pin weight dropped the bed of a 4WD 3G 3500 1/2 half as much after traction bars.
For some folks, I reckon only seeing makes believing.

not that I can add an extreme amount to this discussion but my experience with the GDP bars keeps my truck from having alot of body roll. I said this well over a year ago and I think it was disputed then by jrussel that there was no way they could help with body roll. But it does. I have also seen the effect of sections of road that make my stock 03 bounce all over the place then becme "smoother" with my ladder bars on the built 03. I dont know but it helps both roll and bounce.

I will second...third..fourth...etc Mikes traction bars. The are bomb diggity and are listed under his bomb's page! I can probably put it in simplistic terms for you.....yep, they shove your tires into the pavement helping the rear hook up like crazy and eliminate axle wrap. The first night I dropped hammer with them on I thought I had thrown nobbies off or pulled up concrete, seriously. The ride definately improved as XXL is stating, with those bars on it makes it much more controllable when your traveling sideways too!! . Driving off road has also improved, and articulation is as stated. Ive crossed a few bar ditches hunting and they never seem to limit my suspension travel. The truck corners much better, and if your hauling **** around, you need these for sure to keep up with the Corvett's!
Best ones I've seen anyway...and Mikes the man with the plan who stands behind his products and work, so you cant go wrong with the Lazar bars! Plus they look saweeeeet!

okay so I need traction bars because I'm getting mad wheel hop when I pin it. With my 6" lift do I still just order the regular lazar's or do I need a different length? Also the mounting brackets... do those bolt to exsisting holes... or they need to be drilled (the ones on the frame)?
