I feel for ya! Just went thru the same thing. I replaced the stock Michellen's with the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have had very good luck with the Michs's as they lasted about 50k and could have still gone more. I had some BFG's in the past on my 03 and did not like them very much. Had cracks in the side walls and NTB would not replace them after 5k. I probably got a bad set and NTB did not care.

Choose the nittos based on 3 things, "E" rating, looks, and price. Picked up 4 online for less than 700.

I like them alot but only time will tell if I made the right choice.

 

silver goat how long did your BFG's last you?

 

I put about 15k on them before I traded for my current truck. The tires were ok but I felt like they sould have held up better. I paid much more for them than the Nitto's. I might try them again at some point but I only paid 684 for the set of 4 Nittos I have now.
