Use after-market Turbo/stock torque/SW#3 to cut down smoke, it cuts back fueling to allow time to spool. After market injector retards timing and raises exhaust temp. I use aftermarket-turbo/stock torque/SW#3 and like it real well.

 

Bob Wagner told me to use aftermarket injector progam to cut down on smoke. It did help some. So the aftermarket turbo works better. Anyone else trying this. I took my smarty off and am waiting for a towing mileage upgrade that should hopefully happen soon. Just way too much soot on my toyhauler.

 

For me, I run aftermarket turbo, stock injectors, moderate TM program on sw 7. That gave me the best MPG... I live and tow in high altitude (4000 ft and up) never see higher than 1350*--- but then again I have twins!

 

i tried the aftermarket trbo sw 5 today and it smoked more than ever,gonna try the aftermarket inj.next

 

If you're smokin'-- thats the way to go.
