Has anyone towed with the smarty beta 4.3? Bob just recently sent me the 4.4, but it doesnt seem to run to good on my truck. I'll be towing my 10k toy hauler a couple times this month, and I want all the extra power I can get. I have no fueling in 1st and 2nd gear, and then when i shift into 3rd it'll smoke and run like hell, all the way to 6th gear. Kinda weird to me. 4.2 and 4.3 dont do that at all. They are strong all the way through. I have ran 4.4 before, a long time ago, and it was strong through all the gears. Is this a different version maybe? Revised somehow? I really like these betas, they run way better than the tnt, at least on my 03.

Thats weird. I ran 4.4 for a while, & hauled my camper once with it. It fueled hard down low. RP was too high for my likeing so I switched to Revo TNT. I'd try Bob again, & make sure you got the right program. Sory, never had 4.3 so Couldn't tell ya anything.

So no one has towed with this? Anyone know the main reason they made the 4.3? I know 4.2 is a racing tune, and supposedly 4.4 was a mileage and towing tune. But what is the 4.3 made for? Just a dd? Anyone?

I believe they were all used in developing the Revo tunes, Standard and TNT.

Personally, I like towing with the Standard Revo best of all, on sw1 or sw3 max. Has plenty of power pulling my 5th wheel toy hauler, never worry about egt's, and I can actually use my cruise control. My mileage has not been that great on sw3, <10mpg.

I tow my race car in an enclosed trailer all the time with beta4.3 and love it. I daily drive on sw5 or 7 and I knock it down to sw1or3 for towing. Probably could just leave it on 5or7, but feel better about knocking it down some.

It runs really good on 5. I might try towing my heavy quad trailer soon. It really feels like it has less timing than either 4.4 or 4.2. Only bob knows i guess. I think I like 4.4 more, but 1st and 2nd gear are to sluggish in traffic for daily driving. Only on my truck it seems. I may be switching back. Does anyone know which has more timing of these 3 softwares?
