Marco & Bob W thanks a bunch
Although I have been pounding the pavement with a tuner other than a Smarty Bob and Marco stepped right up to help me during an ECM crisis.
PPE locked up my ECM, no movement no loading no fire. That's right, during a download the PPE froze after the ecm was cleared.
Sent Bob a pm and the next morning I had the recovery file.
I thought since it was the PPE that caused the ecm to go into the closet I would call them and see if they could solve this. They ended telling me I had the wrong software in the tuner and that I would need a different tune, so off they sent me a new recovery file.Transferred the file and proceeded to load the ecm...nothing happened.
Plugged in the Smarty and 4 min later my truck was running.
At the end of the day I was pleased with my trucks performance with the PPE, however the glitches and lack of adjustment have ruled out running it further.
Marco and Bob are not blind to competition, and when they say other products can cause the annoying stuff I was dealt with trust them.

And people wonder why Smarty has so many cheerleaders. I wonder if outstanding customer service has anything to do with it? Excellent product with excellent support makes them top in my book.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Marco and Bob recently... great guys to be around.
yeah, I'm a Smarty cheerleader and have run most of Marcos tunes the last 3 years. I guess as long as I am running a Cummins I'll be running a Smarty too...

I got the chance to meet Bob @ the Sema show, he installed the pod into my S06. Im a single customer, treated me great for a 1st time meet in person. Only if I could get some stickers!, lol.
